We are currently hiring for the position of Network Administrator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent, work-from-office role based in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.
Role Overview
The Network Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization. You will be responsible for:
Maintaining hardware and network infrastructure.
Installing and troubleshooting operating systems and applications.Providing technical support to users in a timely manner.
Managing IT assets and ensuring documentation accuracy.
Configuring and monitoring network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can ensure that IT systems operate efficiently with minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
As a Network Administrator, you will:
Manage IT Infrastructure
Proven experience in setting up and administering desktops, laptops, and printers.
Troubleshoot issues related to networking, routing, and switching.Configure and maintain firewalls, Internet VPNs, and remote connections.
System Setup & Maintenance
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems (Windows 8, 10, and 11).
Configure MS Outlook, Outlook Express, and Exchange mail accounts.Install and update drivers, antivirus software, and Office 365 applications.
Network Administration
Provide technical oversight of enterprise-level WAN infrastructure across multiple sites.
Define and enforce network policies and procedures.Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
User & Asset Support
Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking within SLA timelines.
Support new user onboarding, including account setup, permissions, and access control.Maintain records of company assets and update asset management logs regularly.
Problem Resolution
Identify recurring issues and escalate them to ensure permanent fixes.
Resolve problems reported by end-users effectively and professionally.Perform proactive monitoring to prevent potential issues.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
Education:
B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Expertise in Windows operating systems and Office 365.Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Soft Skills:
Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in rotational EU/US shifts and weekends when required.
Location Preference:
Candidates currently in Gurugram or willing to relocate will be preferred.
