 About the Role: Network & Desktop Support Engineer

As a Network Support and Desktop Support Engineer, you’ll be the first line of defense in maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring system uptime, and resolving technical issues efficiently. Your work directly impacts the productivity of teams and the overall health of the organization’s network.

 Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of IT support. Some of your core responsibilities will include

Network Troubleshooting (LAN/WAN)
  • Diagnose and fix network connectivity issues.
  • Identify and resolve local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) problems.

  • Manage password policies and access permissions.
  • Ensure secure authentication and directory management.



DNS, DHCP, and IP Configuration:

  • Configure IP addresses, gateways, and subnets.
  • Understand and troubleshoot DNS (Domain Name System) and DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) issues.



System Installation & Configuration

  • Perform fresh OS installations and driver configurations.
  • Maintain proper system setup for smooth day-to-day operations.



User Support and Ticket Resolution

  • Handle IT support tickets efficiently.
  • Provide quick and effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
