Job Description
As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN infrastructure. The role involves working with Cisco networking equipment, supporting routing and switching protocols, and ensuring smooth network performance across different environments.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on troubleshooting of LAN and WAN infrastructure issues.
Conducting root cause analysis on network incidents.Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
Expertise in implementing Layer 2 technologies such as VLAN, VTP, STP, RSTP, and MSTP.
Knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, ARP, OSI, and TCP/IP models.
Implementing and troubleshooting routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIP, and ISIS.
Route redistribution between static and dynamic protocols.
Configuration and support of LAN protocols on Cisco switches (Layer 2, 3, and multi-layer).
Handling IP link issues (failures, latency, packet drops, and configuration mismatches).
Troubleshooting license issues on Cisco platforms.
Exposure to advanced Cisco technologies such as SDWAN, ACI, ISE, DNAC, and Wireless solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing or equivalent qualification.CCNP or equivalent certification (CCNA/MCSE/MCSA also considered).
Strong practical knowledge of Cisco devices and IOS upgrades.
Familiarity with 5K/7K/9K series switches, ASR routers, FTD, FMC, and wireless controllers.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Freshers or passed-out graduates (2010 to 2023 batch).
Good communication skills.Any degree background is accepted.
Salary negotiable based on skills and certifications.
