Key Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer at Smashr Global, you will:
- Configure, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise-level network systems.
- Manage and optimize routing and switching configurations.
- Work extensively with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
- Support and maintain MPLS and WAN technologies for seamless connectivity.
- Monitor network performance to ensure uptime, scalability, and security.
- Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams and configuration backups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues.
- Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and new project deployments.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (mandatory).
Experience:
- 2–6 years of hands-on experience in Routing, Switching, and WAN technologies.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong hands-on experience in Routing & Switching.
- Deep understanding of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and WAN.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN design, network security, and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with Cisco or Juniper devices preferred.
Certifications (Preferred):
- CCNA / CCNP or equivalent certifications.
