Job Overview – What You Will Do

As a Cyber Security Analyst at Colliers, you will be part of the global Information Security team. The role includes both technical and governance-related responsibilities. You will work on:

  • Protecting cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
  • Supporting internal and external audits
  • Managing cyber risk assessments
  • Handling security policy documentation
  • Tracking cyber metrics such as vulnerabilities, risks, and MTTR

Roles and Responsibilities (Detailed)

Security Monitoring & Control Management

  • Monitor cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), network devices, servers, and business applications.
  • Ensure all systems adhere to cyber hygiene and security control standards.
  • Work with IT teams to fix detected vulnerabilities on time.

Cyber Risk Assessments

  • Perform risk analysis for IT systems, applications, vendors, and security events.
  • Document findings with professional reporting standards.
  • Support internal audits and audits related to ISO 27001, SOX, and NIST CSF.

Security Policies & Compliance

  • Help develop updated security policies, standards, and SOP documents.
  • Maintain compliance records and evidence for audit requests.
  • Review technical configurations for compliance gaps.

Vulnerability and Threat Management

  • Track open vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation with technology teams.
  • Measure indicators like MTTR (Mean Time To Remediate) and KRIs (Key Risk Indicators).

AI & Data Protection

  • Identify risks related to AI tools, automation systems, data usage, and privacy.
  • Help build governance around AI security.

Cybersecurity Awareness

  • Support phishing simulations, awareness programs, and secure coding initiatives.
  • Promote responsible usage of digital tools among employees.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Create monthly security dashboards, audit reports, and compliance summaries.
  • Present metrics to leadership teams and suggest improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
